It's been a while since I did any landscapes as I've been busy with weddings etc but I had an idea so.........

This panorama is actually made up of 24 separate exposures put together to create a very large, detailed photo with a bigger than usual range of shadows and highlights. The shots were taken from the Baltic Art Gallery in Gateshead and show the view across the Millennium Bridge, the Tyne Bridge and across Newcastle.

For those of you old enough to remember(!), I wanted to create a cityscape reminiscent of a scene from Richard Scarry's children's book "The Best Word Book Ever". If that means nothing to you then don't worry about it...just enjoy the picture....!

Sadly, on the web you won't see the full detail of it... but if you want a real showpiece contact me about getting a limited edition BIG canvas of your own....!

You can play a great game of Where's Wally? with various characters such as a group of 6 'butchers' on Irn Bru bikes who happened to be shooting for an advert and who appear on the shot.

It set me thinking for a surreal wedding photo idea of having a wedding party scattered around the scene and playing 'spot the bride'! Any takers?!
