What is it ?

Photographers all over Britain have pledged to give a day’s free wedding photography for any deserving couples who are willing to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Please contact your local Liaison officer (see left) to see if you qualify then the Liaison Officer will get in touch with the photographers in that area who have volunteered to help to see who is available on the couple's date. You will be able to choose a photographer from them that fits the style of photography you want. Each Couple will be asked to raise as much money as they can via the liaison officer’s just giving page. The page will be created once the couple has been chosen.

In return the photographer will work the whole day for free and the couple will receives as a minimum a DVD of photographs from the day.


How Do I Apply ?

If you know a couple that you believe deserves free wedding photography, because they've been touched by cancer in some way, in the first instance, please contact the Liason Officer (via website link below) for your county below saying why you think your couple should have free photography. The couple will need to pledge to raise at least £300 but if they have 30 guests coming to their wedding it would mean only £10 donation from each couple. The couple that raises the most money for Cancer Research UK over the next year will get a wonderful prize of a very special wedding album.
