Wedding photography style
Geoff's style is to provide a mixture of informal reportage and lifestyle type shots to 'tell the story' of your wedding together with a selection of more formal shots to complete the tale...
Geoff does try hard not to keep guests waiting around longer than necessary for photos (very boring when waiting to have fun!). Similarly, while he may typically try to agree a 20 minute slot with bride and groom before the reception, he will generally try to minimise the time required of the bride and groom away from guests so you can fully enjoy your special day.
Naturally, all aspects of the coverage are discussed and agreed before the event as part of the preparation. Any specific requests for coverage - both do's and don'ts(!) - particular groupings etc. would also be agreed at this point.
Geoff's intention is to plan as much of the detail as necessary before the event so as to intrude as little as possible on the day itself, leaving you to have a great day knowing that the photos are covered!
Geoff uses a mixture of available light shots (often for the bride's preparation stages of the day), and also both on and off camera flash shots too.
