Wynyard Hall wedding photographer
Claire and David wanted a very intimate celebration for their wedding day with just close family present. They chose the gorgeous Wynyard Hall as their wedding venue and booked me to provide two hours of photography to capture the most importation memories of their day - my ‘Essentials’ package.
Wynyard Hall is or course a beautiful, luxurious, stunning, expansive, classy and generally a totally amazing wedding venue!
Once Claire had descended the stairs with her Dad I really enjoyed capturing a couple of photos of her in the beautiful light of the reception area set off by with the gold chandelier. Ready for the wedding!
The room the wedding ceremony was held in is equally was stunning as the rest of the rooms. What a grand place to get married!
After a wonderful ceremony and now newly married, they made their exit. Time for a celebratory drink with their families!
We had arranged that after a quick drink we would leave their guests to enjoy their canapes for 15 minutes while we went a grabbed some photos. Most of my work during a wedding is done in the background - the couple can enjoy their day without worring about what I’m doing. However, if they are happy to, it is helpful just to take a few minutes out at this stage to get a few photos around the grounds. And the ground at Wynyard Hall are too good to be missed.
While a few of the photos are lightly posed it’s mostly about going for a wander and a chat and getting a few pics along the way. All pretty low key and relaxed. Couples tell me they love this opportunity to take a pause from the action of the day and draw breath.
