Come take a look at some wedding photos of the beautiful Lartington Hall wedding venue in County Durham, courtesy of Lindsey & Rob’s stunning wedding day.

This was a winter wedding in early January so you won’t find as many outdoor photos as for some weddings. However, that doesn’t mean it’s any less wonderful as they had some surprises in store…!

Lartington Hall in County Durham is the most beautiful of wedding venues and perfect spot for a wedding photographer to capture some stunning images of your wedding. I started by finding the guy and popping outside with them for few minutes. Always a good chance to assess the level of nervousness of the groom!

Moving across the to beautifully appointed cottage, I found the bride and her party in the middle of getting ready, caught some of the action and hung around to get some ‘ready’ photos.

We then made our way across to the main hall in preparation for the big event - the wedding ceremony.

And then the groom made his entrance. It’s not very often you hard about the groom’s entrance… but in this case it was to the James Bond theme tune and he was served a Martini - shaken not stirred, on arrival. Well why not?!

And finally the big moment in any wedding day, the bride’s arrival.

The wedding ceremony room at Lartington Hall is a dream for a wedding photographer making for a dramatic backdrop to the ceremony photos.

And of course, if you make a grand entrance there’s only one way to out… Dancing and confetti canons!

Following the wedding ceremony there was time to greet some guests.

And then a bit of chill time for the bride and groom to wander the hall with me and grab some photos of the happy couple.

The stairs at Lartington Hall make for some beautiful, classical wedding photographs.

And then secret envelopes for all the wedding guests - how exciting!

The wedding speeches were emotional and fun-filled and included a special song from the groom to his new wife!

And just as the guests though they were gong to enjoy a quiet mean - some singing waiters popped up the whole place started rocking.
